Christopher Trotz MD

Christopher Trotz, MD

Diplomate of the American Board of Family Medicine.

Dr. Trotz has been in practice since 2005. He is dually board certified in Family Medicine and Hospice and Palliative Medicine. He is also a certified medical review officer. He has admitting privileges at the Inspira Medical Center, Woodbury and Kennedy Memorial Hospital in Washington Township, NJ.  He is the school physician for the Gateway Regional High School, and the Woodbury Heights Elementary School. He is the Medical Director of Centers for Care Rehab facility at Deptford, New Jersey.  He is also the Medical Director for Bayada Hospice in Gloucester County, NJ.



 Dr. Shawna Reigel MD

Dr. Reigel completed her residency at the Underwood Memorial hospital family medicine residency program where she was appointed as Chief Resident  She enjoyed working with both residents and faculty as a liaison for communication.

Dr. Reigel is board-certified in Family Medicine. She is affiliated with the American Academy of Family Physicians. She has a special interest in Pediatrics and travel medicine. With her knowledge and experience, Dr. Reigel provides a professional, as well as comforting service to her patients, which is what South Jersey Family Medicine Associates is all about. As a mother, she prides herself in her excellent listening skills which help her with her kids, as well as her patients. Integrating formal education with a family style, Dr. Reigel promotes the compassionate principles that patients love about her practice.

Dr. Shawna Reigel graduated from the Saint Louis University School of Medicine. Previously, Dr. Reigel worked as a family physician at the Underwood Family Health Center in Mullica Hill and Bruneau Family Care.

 Anthony Orlando, MPH, PA-C.
Tony is a graduate of the George Washington University’s Physician Assistant Program, where he earned both a Masters of Science and Masters of Public Health degree. Having a strong academic interest in early childhood literacy, he was a founding member of the Reach Out and Read Coalition of Metropolitan DC and served as Outreach Coordinator, where he was integral in assisting local health care centers establish and sustain successful programs.

In addition to clinical practice, Tony is committed to professional development and advocacy. He has served as Vice President with the NJ State Society of Physician Assistants and has worked closely with the American Academy of Physician Assistants.
He also serves as a clinical preceptor to local physician assistant programs. Tony started his medical career at Woodbury Family Practice in 2004 and recently joined SJFM in 2012. He has strong clinical interests in health promotion and education as well as disease management.


Dr. Karen Dong, MD
Dr Dong is the newest member of our physician team. She is a broadly trained family physician with special interest in women’s health, pediatric care and musculoskeletal health. She is skilled in a variety of office based procedures including long term contraceptive placement, skin procedures and joint injections. She is actively involved in health promotion in the local community including membership in the New Jersey Academy of Family Physicians. She was the first international student accepted to the University of Hawaii John A. Burns School of medicine. Her interests include Integrative/Alternative Medicine, gardening, cooking and painting. She speaks English, Mandarin and Sichuan Chinese fluently.

Copy of IMG_2955Ms. Shonta D. Collins, RN, MSN, MPA, CRNP, FNP-C native of Missouri, is a global traveler and International Educator, with interests in humanitarian work, nursing, and scholarly writing.

Ms. Collins is originally from St. Louis, Missouri where she attended undergraduate at Columbia College, majored in Political Science/History, Minor in Business, and a Master of Public Administration degree from the University of Missouri-Columbia and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from LaSalle University. Ms. Collins completed her MSN Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) at Drexel University and is Certified by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP). She has been involved in local and global community projects for over 14 years and is a long-standing member of NAFSA: Association for International Educators. In addition to her community and civic involvement, Ms. Collins is a member of the American Critical Care Nurses Association, actively involved in evidenced-based practice and research to enhance educational programs for the community at large.

Lisa Nutt, APN, FNP-BC, NPC, CCM
Nurse Practitioner South Jersey Family Medical Associates

Mrs. Nutt attended undergraduate training at Widener University where shecompleted a Bachelor of science in Nursing. She completed her Family Nurse Practitioner Masters Degree from Wilmington University in Delaware. Prior to joining our practice Lisa served as the Director of medical Management at Aetna and the Director of Case management and Social Services at Underwood Memorial Hospital.
